Job summary

IT Solutions Ltd. on behalf of a Major Bank in Hong Kong seeks an IT Procurement Assistant/Officer to support procurement and budgeting activities for IT equipment, software and services.

You will liaise with internal teams and vendors to negotiate prices and terms, manage costs, and track project progress. The role involves preparing IT procurement and budgeting analyses and leveraging experience in IT procurement to contribute to the bank's IT spend optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or above in Business/ Finance/ Purchasing/ IT or related discipline.
• 1 year+ procurement experience.
• Good communication skills with overseas & local vendors.
• Experience in IT related firms / Finance sector would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review, propose, and process IT Procurement & Budgeting initiatives on Information Technology equipment, software and/or services in a Major Bank
• Liaise with internal parties and vendors for price negotiation, terms, etc
• Cost management and follow up the vendor contracts
• Keep track of the project implementation progress
• Prepare IT Procurement and Budget analysis reports
