Job summary

Jaz Toys HK Limited is seeking an Intellectual Property Assurance Director to oversee audit and compliance across Asia-based development, sampling, and production controls. The role protects IP assets for Jazwares and brand partners, ensuring ownership tracking from development to delivery and reducing exposure to misappropriation.

You will audit processes, strengthen IP policies, and train staff, with frequent travel to Southeast Asia, including China and Vietnam.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing IP, manufacturing quality or supply chain controls.
• Strong ability to identify gaps in IP protection and enforce protocols.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills for audit findings.”
• Willingness to travel to overseas production locations in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Review and protect IP assets across Asia operations (development, sampling, production).
• Verify ownership and chain of custody for assets from development to delivery.
• Identify risks and misappropriation of molds, samples, packaging and trade secrets.
• Audit procedures, IP robustness, and SOP deployment with stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive IP asset inventories by brand and factory and validate via audits.
• Audit manufacturing partners to prevent leakage of restricted items.
