Job summary

Webull in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Specialist to own the end-to-end lifecycle for mutual funds, bonds and structured products. You will lead research, screening, and onboarding to align with client needs and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with sales, advisory, and product teams to produce market updates, write-ups and pitches, manage relationships with fund houses, and optimize client journeys from subscription to portfolio management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in product management or investment advisory within a private bank, wealth management firm, or brokerage.
• Licensing: Local regulatory licenses (e.g., SFC Type 1, 4 for Hong Kong, or equivalent regional equivalents) are highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CFP are considered a strong advantage.
• Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).

Responsibilities

• Product Selection & Onboarding: Lead the research, screening, and selection of third-party investment products (Mutual Funds, Bonds, and Structured Products) to our product selection with customers’ needs.
• Due Diligence & Risk Management: Spearhead initial and continuous product due diligence. Evaluate product mechanics, risk-return profiles, and underlying asset classes to ensure strict adherence to internal risk parameters and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Front Office Advisory & Support: Serve as a subject matter expert for the sales and advisory teams. Provide timely product guidance and support client pitching when necessary.
• Content & Sales Collateral Creation: Formulate regular market updates, product write-ups, one-pagers, brochures, and pitch books in promoting new product or campaign launches.
• Platform & Counterparty Management: Manage relationships with external fund houses and product issuers to optimize product suite on our platform, onboard new counterparties, and expand product shelf diversity.
• User Journey Optimization: Partner closely with product managers to design and enhance client workflows for product subscription and portfolio management.
