UBS AG in Hong Kong is seeking a product specialist to support the lifecycle management of Hong Kong-domiciled funds and ensure ongoing viability of existing strategies. You will collaborate with investments and distribution to monitor performance and adjust approaches as needed.

You will analyze potential investment ideas, work with legal and registration teams on fund filings, and help the APAC product team stay ahead of market trends. A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in finance industry, ideally in asset management.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.
• Curious to explore how AI can improve workflows with sound judgment.

Have you managed product development initiatives from A to Z? Do you want to help us develop new strategic products for our clients?

We’re looking for a product specialist to:

• Assist senior members of the team in overseeing all functions pertaining to the lifecycle management of the funds including creating, maintaining and liquidating Hong Kong domiciled funds
• Maintain communication with investments and distribution to ensure the continued viability of the products and to monitor the need for adjustments in current strategies
• Analyze ideas for new investment strategies and potential products and provide supported opinions regarding success potential and overall positioning within the industry and the framework of existing UBS product strategies
• Work closely with local legal team and registration desk on fund registration in Hong Kong
• Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and industry trends in order to help the investment and sales areas position products properly in conjunction with their ongoing strategies
• Undertake fund-specific as well as firm-level competitive analyses to support marketing activities and overall product strategy formulation

The team

You will be based in Hong Kong and work with APAC product team. Our team is responsible for overseeing the strategic product offering across all of our APAC asset management businesses.

Your skills and experience

• 3+ years of experience in finance industry, ideally in asset management
• A keen learner with a ‘can do’ attitude
• A positive attitude to interact with people of different functions and seniorities
• Some knowledge of investment capabilities including equity, fixed income, multi-asset and alternative products
• Some knowledge of the general legal and regulatory framework for Hong Kong; Knowledge of China, Luxembourg, Ireland, Cayman or other APAC fund vehicles a plus
• Proactive self-starter who has a keen eye for the details
• Collaborative personality, with the ability to complete tasks independently
• CFA qualification (a plus)
• Fluent in English (fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese a plus)
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
