Job summary

Area-17 Limited is seeking an Interior Designer / Project Designer for Residential and Commercial projects in Hong Kong. The role involves handling full drawing sets, coordinating with clients and contractors, and supporting project management to ensure timely delivery.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of interior design experience, strong drafting skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and SketchUp with Enscape or VRAY. English and Chinese communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years solid experience in interior design and design development.
• Strong drafting skills to produce full sets of drawings.
• Ability to deliver 3D model drawings and quick renders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp with Enscape or VRAY.
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese.
• Team player with proactive attitude; self-motivated and well organized.
• Ability to work independently under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

Interior Designer / Project Designer (Residential/Commercial projects)

Job Duties:

• Handle full set of drawings and presentation
• Manage design intent, coordinate with client, contractor, supplier and other parties
• Check quotation and manage project timeline
• Provide assistance in project management
• Check and comment shop drawings

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years solid experience in interior design and design development, preferably in high-end residential/office/F&B/retail shop projects
• Strong technical skills on drafting full sets of drawings
• Able to deliver 3D model drawings and quick rendering
• Proficiency in AutoCAD,Photoshopand SketchUp with Enscape or VRAY is a must
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
• A good team player with positive and proactive attitude
• Self-motivated, well organized and hardworking
• Able to work independently under tight schedule and pressure
• Candidate with extensive project experience would be considered for the position of Project Designer.
