Job summary

• General understanding of trade lifecycle processes and front-to-back operational flows.
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good working knowledge of Excel and other productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across a range of products and business activities throughout the trade lifecycle, from trade inception to settlement, maturity, and related lifecycle events.
• Manage day-to-day trade support activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing with a strong focus on risk and control.
• Engage with Front Office, Operations, Settlements, Confirmations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology and external counterparties as applicable.
• Investigate, review and resolve complex trade and operational issues, coordinating between stakeholders.
• Analyze workflows and partner with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Support change initiatives, process enhancements, new business activities, system implementations, and user acceptance testing.
• Understand and adhere to risk and control framework; ensure controls are performed and exceptions managed.
• Contribute to regulatory, management and operational reporting to stay compliant.

We’re looking for an Integrated Middle Office Specialist to:

• provide operational support across a range of products and business activities throughout the trade lifecycle, from trade inception to settlement, maturity, and related lifecycle events.
• manage day-to-day trade support activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing while maintaining a strong focus on risk and control.
• engage with internal stakeholders, including Front Office, Operations, Settlements, Confirmations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Technology, and other support functions, as well as external counterparties and service providers where applicable.
• investigate, review, and resolve complex trade and operational issues, acting as a key point of coordination between stakeholders.
• analyse existing workflows and partner with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• support change initiatives, process enhancements, new business activities, system implementations, and user acceptance testing.
• understand and adhere to the risk and control framework, ensuring all relevant controls are performed effectively and exceptions are appropriately managed.
• contribute to regulatory, management, and operational reporting requirements, ensuring processes remain compliant with internal policies and external regulations.

The team

You’ll be working in the Integrated Middle Office in Hong Kong: The team provides critical operational support across the trade lifecycle, including transaction processing, controls monitoring, reconciliations, reporting, and stakeholder management.

Integrated Middle Office is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient front-to-back processing across supported businesses and products. The team works closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational integrity, manage risk, and support business growth. Team members are expected to balance day-to-day operational responsibilities while actively contributing to process, system, and control enhancements.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelors/Master’s degree or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience working in IB operations, Cash Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives middle office, settlement, or related areas
• General understanding of trade lifecycle processes and front-to-back operational flows.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good working knowledge of Excel and other productivity tools.
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and risk awareness.
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently across all levels of the organization.
