Job summary

DFI Retail Group is seeking a proactive Insight Monetisation professional to lead new business development and client acquisition across our banners. You will own revenue targets, build compelling proposals, and convert opportunities into measurable outcomes.

This role requires 3-4 years in business development, data analytics, or related commercial roles, with strong stakeholder management and the ability to collaborate across Legal, Finance, Marketing, and commercial teams in a retail/FMCG

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or related field
• 3-4 years of relevant experience in business development, data analytics, insight monetisation, or similar roles
• Demonstrable commercial acumen and revenue-generation experience from data insights
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver ambitious new-business revenue targets by building, qualifying, and converting a strong sales pipeline.
• Develop persuasive business cases, pricing models, and tailored proposals that convert opportunities into revenue.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline reporting, sales forecasting, and updates for senior stakeholders.
• Lead client conversations from outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close; support handover for campaign execution and results tracking.
• Drive development and implementation of the insight monetisation strategy to grow revenue.
• Identify new monetisation opportunities by monitoring market trends and competitor activity.
• Coordinate alignment of monetisation pricing, value propositions, and go-to-market plans across business units.
• Act as a key point of contact among banner commercial teams, Legal, and Finance.
• Coordinate project governance, track monetisation milestones, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal Marketing and Commercial teams to grow Insights revenue.
