Job summary

HKSH Medical Group Limited is seeking an IT professional to conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects using emerging technologies, aligning with hospital operations.

The role builds applications from frontend to backend, participates in system testing, and Maintains DevOps practices to ensure code quality.

Applicants should hold a degree in IT or CS, be fluent in English and Chinese, and be able to work under pressure in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in a wide variety of technologies.
• Passion for innovation and the skills to bring concepts to reality.
• Fast learner and able to work independently.
• Highly disciplined in meeting deadlines and performing under pressure.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and proof-of-concept projects using emerging technologies.
• Build applications that meet business and operation’s needs, from front-end interfaces to back-end services.
• Participate in system testing cycles and work within a DevOps environment to ensure code quality.
• Update, repair, and modify existing programs to ensure system stability.
• Organize user training and provide technical assistance to hospital staff.
• Provide round-the-clock on-call support (on a rotation basis) to ensure our critical systems are always running.
