Job summary

Ambition in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Lead to plan, implement and optimise enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure successful project execution, manage timelines, risks, and resources, and prepare comprehensive documentation and reports.

Ideal candidates bring 8-15 years in IT infrastructure, strong cloud, networking, cybersecurity, IAM, backup and DR knowledge, and a track record of end-to-end project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, systems administration, or IT project delivery.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure including cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, IAM, backup and DR.
• Experience in infrastructure transformation, cloud adoption, or technology modernization initiatives.
• End-to-end project delivery experience from planning to handover.
• Familiarity with architecture, design, evaluation, or roadmapping.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, systems administration, or IT project delivery.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, including cloud platforms, virtualisation, networking, cybersecurity, identity and access management, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience in supporting or delivering infrastructure transformation, cloud adoption, or technology modernisation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, encompassing planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational handover.
• Familiarity with infrastructure architecture, solution design, technology evaluation, or roadmap planning.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, regional teams, vendors, and external service providers.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and IT service management best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional certifications in cloud platforms, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, project management, or IT service management will be advantageous (e.g. Azure, AWS, VMware, CCNP, PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL).
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
