St. James' Settlement in Hong Kong seeks a Social Work professional to lead the design, development and enhancement of the Earn2Thrive Credit Share framework and related engagement strategies in Wan Chai.

You will build partnerships with community organisations, corporates and stakeholders, curate developmental opportunities for children, youth and caregivers, and drive service innovation and social impact through the SCP platform.

Qualifications

  • 5 years post-degree Social Work experience.
  • Experience in building partnerships with community organisations, corporates and stakeholders
  • Experience in digital platform development, user engagement campaigns or service innovation is an advantage
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for children, youth and families
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in social innovation and systems change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development and continuous enhancement of the Earn2Thrive (E2T) Credit Share framework and related engagement strategies
  • Curate meaningful developmental opportunities for children, youth and caregivers aligned with the Positive Trajectory and Social Capital Framework
  • Mobilize community resources and opportunities that can be integrated into the Social Capital Platform (SCP);
  • Develop engagement mechanisms, incentive models, credit redemption pathways and community participation functions;
  • Monitor programme quality, participant engagement and achievement of project outcomes;
  • Produce reports, presentations and knowledge-sharing materials for stakeholders and funders;
  • Undertake ad hoc duties related to the project.

5 years post-degree Social Work experience;


Good command in Eng & Chin

Job duties:

Founded by the Rt. Rev. Bishop R.O. Hall of the Anglican Church in 1949, St. James’ Settlement began as a club for boys and girls in a temple in Stone Nullah Lane, Wanchai. It was then developed into a six-storey building on Kennedy Road in 1963 to provide diversified services, including children and youth services, elderly services and rehabilitation services. In 1987, the headquarters was opened in Stone Nullah Lane so that the scope of services could be further extended.
