Job summary

Philips in Hong Kong is seeking a Project Manager for G&B PIE with a focus on manufacturing process development and product industrialization. You will drive lean initiatives, manage BOM releases, and ensure compliance across PDLM and project teams.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering, preferably in electronics, with Lean Six Sigma expertise and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Sciences, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures implementation of process development activities for projects to streamline procedures and improve outcomes.
• Introduces DFLM into PDLM processes, focusing on project industrialization and production workflows.
• Aligns process and equipment capabilities with product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Leads timely release of Manufacturing BOMs and routes Master data for integration of specs.
• Oversees complex processes and ensures safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance.
• Addresses complex product industrialization challenges with innovative problem-solving.
• Fosters relationships and shares expertise within project teams and peer groups.
• Initiates design changes in factories and at supplier sites under PDLM projects.
• Adheres to processes governing product introductions, qualifications, and releases for mid complexity projects.
• Applies lean manufacturing and continuous improvement to productivity.
