Job summary

Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour Hong Kong is seeking an In-Room Dining Supervisor to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction across all shifts.

You will lead, coach and support Service Associates, maintain Hyatt service standards and coordinate with kitchen and other departments to deliver accurate orders.

Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required; familiarity with hotel POS systems and basic computer skills is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in In-Room Dining, Room Service, Restaurant, Hotel Operations, or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest concerns professionally.
• Proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin; written English and Chinese preferred.
• Familiar with hotel POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Pleasant, service-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the F&B Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the In-Room Dining team and ensuring smooth service delivery throughout all shifts.
• Lead, coach and support Service Associates to maintain Hyatt service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately via telephone and other ordering channels.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding and other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
• Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency throughout each shift.
• Ensure all service equipment, guest trays and workstations are clean, organized and maintained in good condition.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish operating supplies as required.
• Assist with cashiering duties and ensure accurate billing and posting procedures.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management Team as required.
