Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a seasoned professional to support sustainability programmes within the Charities and Community Division. You will help govern projects, prepare reports, and maintain documentation, while engaging stakeholders from government, NGOs, and community partners to address social issues with innovative cross-sector collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in construction management/engineering, sports management, business administration or related fields.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across diverse functions.
• Strong project planning, development and management capabilities.
• Knowledge of government policies and community service needs, with particular insight into local sports development.
• Good written communication skills in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Support the Deputy Executive Manager/Senior Manager to execute sustainability programmes with governance and controls.
• Create project plans with timelines, deliverables, and resources; maintain documentation for governance and audit.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and project publications.
• Monitor activity delivery to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines; coordinate with external partners.
• Manage budget monitoring, procurement, and supplier contracts.
• Design and implement stakeholder engagement and publicity strategies with partners and government.
• Provide admin support for daily operations, reporting, procurement, and audit procedures.
• Provide secretariat support for committees and working groups.
• Conduct research on social issues to support new projects/themes.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and prepare presentation materials.
