Job summary

A leading security solutions provider in Hong Kong is seeking a professional for an engineering role. The ideal candidate will supervise IoT projects and liaise with clients and contractors while requiring strong communication skills in both English and Chinese. Candidates should hold a degree in ICT or related fields and have 2-3 years of experience. Additional opportunities for less experienced candidates are available as Sales Executive or Trainee. Immediate availability is preferred, and alternate Saturday work is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years relevant working experience in ICT Projects preferred.
• At least 2 years relevant experience in Sales.
• Candidates with less experience can be considered for lower positions.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Immediate available is preferable, and alternate Sat work (half-day) is required.

Responsibilities

• To monitor and supervise all Electrical & Extra Low Voltage (ELV), Network Structure cabling & mainly in IoT / ICT projects
• To liaise with clients, main contractors, consultants and sub-contractors
• To prepare system drawings including layout drawing, pipe duct details, plant room details, etc. as well as equipment and individual preparation and submission for approval and procurement
• To prepare tender, job budget estimation and submission

Job Requirements

• Degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) / Electronic Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering;
• Preferably 2-3 years relevant working experience in ICT Projects
• Good interpersonal, problem solving skills, talkative and interpersonal skills;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Sales Engineer

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Sales Executive or Sales Trainee.
• Diploma or above in Building Services / Electrical Engineering or similar academic discipline
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in Sales
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in handling client sales enquiry, serve and develop sales accounts, highly preferable in CCTV, security and Alarm systems
• Responsible for sales and marketing activities on CCTV, security, Alarm system, ICT and IOT systems; Provide technical advice and support to clients, consultants, retailers or contractors on the pre-tender design and tendering works, including preparation of PowerPoint presentation and design proposal
• Proficiency in PC skills (e.g. Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
• Aggressive, outgoing and good communication skills
