Manulife/John Hancock in Hong Kong seeks an experienced senior full-stack software engineer to lead end-to-end development across frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.

You will participate in architecture discussions, drive design of new features, coach junior developers, and ensure high-quality code through reviews, CI/CD, and security best practices in a SCRUM environment. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of full-stack software development experience; minimum of 5 years of experience in a leading role.
• Proficiency in Java, Springboot, Angular, Node.js/React, Azure DB, JavaScript, AKS & Azure cloud services.
• Experience with DevOps, RESTful API design, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and version control.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and coding standard; mentoring and leadership abilities.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain end-to-end application stack including frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in architectural discussions and design new features and systems.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and industry standards.
• Debug and resolve technical issues with cross-functional teams.
• Apply security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and threat mitigation.
• Lead teams and mentor developers in SCRUM environments.
• Provide production support during non-office hours as required.
