Job summary

Viva Goods Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our HR Shared Services team. You will support day-to-day HR operations, maintain data accuracy, and help deliver high-quality service across the group.

Key duties include payroll calculations and final payments, leave management, MPF administration in Hong Kong, tax returns, onboarding and offboarding, HRIS updates, and supporting payroll improvements with AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in HRM or related discipline.
• 1+ year experience in HR operations/shared services or similar role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinance and local labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of HR duties, including payroll calculation, final payments, leave management, MPF administration covering in Hong Kong.
• Manage annual employer tax return including rental reimbursement scheme.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and leavers.
• Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support implementation and improvement of HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
• Leverage payroll technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve processing accuracy and employee experience.
• Assist in ad-hoc HR projects as required.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our HR Shared Services team. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in group office.

Key responsibilities

Handle full spectrum of HR duties, including payroll calculation, final payments, leave management, MPF administration covering in Hong Kong.

Handle annual employer tax return including rental reimbursement scheme.

Responsible for the onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and leavers.

Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

Support the implementation and improvement of HR processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Leverage payroll technologies and AI-enabled tools to enhance processing accuracy, employee experience, and operational efficiency.

Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as required.

About you

Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline.

At least 1-year experience in HR operations, shared services, or a similar role is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Hong Kong employment related ordinance.

Good communication, proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
