Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the cleanliness and presentation of guestrooms, meeting spaces, corridors and public areas. You will lead a team of attendants, coordinate with front desk and maintain guest satisfaction with a friendly, professional presence.

Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and strong coaching, communication and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate in housekeeping operations, hospitality management, or related field.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in hotel housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Team player and ability to work under pressure.
• Solid communication, training and coaching skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

As the Housekeeping Supervisor at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the cleanliness and physical condition of the hotel guestrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and public areas. You'll maintain a positive and friendly attitude with all guests and other employees to act as the communicator and liaison between guests and cleaners.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Ensuring that all front and back of house on guest floors are presented and the timely turnaround of guest rooms are guaranteed

• Actively supporting room attendants and public area attendants executing their daily tasks and interacting with guests daily to ensure all guests receive extraordinary service

• Handling all guest and internal complaints in a courteous and efficient manner

• Taking full ownership of all operations in his/her designated section, including but not limited to impeccable delivery of service requests, room discrepancies and general tidiness.

What we need from you

• A certificate in housekeeping operations, hospitality management, or related field

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in hotel housekeeping team, with at least 1 year at supervisory role

• Team player, ability to work under pressure

• Solid communication, training and coaching skills

• Good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a must, speaking and writing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
