Job summary

Nex Playground is seeking a hands-on hardware prototyping engineer to join the Core Technology team in Hong Kong for a two‑month, part‑time engagement. You will build and refine electronics enclosures and prototypes, collaborating with software engineers and researchers to turn concepts into reliable test units.

You will work with schematics, PCBAs, CAD models, and lab equipment to deliver usable prototypes, balancing speed and engineering discipline while ensuring clear documentation for the

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building working electronic prototypes, including circuit design, board bring-up, soldering, rework, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify circuits and PCBAs; select and integrate components.
• Create mechanical CAD, 3D‑printed enclosures, and mounting solutions.
• Assemble, bring up, rework, and debug prototypes using lab measurements.
• Collaborate on firmware and software integration, resolving interface and power issues.
• Iterate quickly from test findings and document limitations and best practices.
