Job summary

Nex is seeking an enthusiastic game engineering intern to join our Hong Kong team for a Summer Internship (June 1, 2027 - August 31, 2027). You will work under senior engineers on production game features, attend design discussions, create mini-games, and explore research projects to broaden your engineering and creative skills.

Based in Hong Kong, you will help build game architectures, UI elements, and gameplay mechanics across diverse genres, while refining coding practices and collaborating

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Build game architecture, create UIs, improve UX, implement game logic, explore motion control algorithms, and build internal tools.
• Participate in game design discussions, design game mechanics, rapidly prototype, and iterate based on playtesting feedback.
• Improve software engineering skills by working closely with senior colleagues and exploring new technologies.
• Create your own game and improve presentation skills by pitching your demo to the team.
