Job summary

Capital Group Hong Kong seeks an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance for Hong Kong operations. You will provide timely, practical guidance to business stakeholders, manage licensing obligations, policy governance, and regulatory reporting, with regional support across APAC as needed.

You will lead the development of compliance policies, monitor developments, escalate issues, and collaborate with Legal, Risk, and external counsel.

Qualifications

• University degree required; legal, regulatory or compliance qualifications/certifications are a plus.
• 10+ years of relevant compliance experience in financial services, asset management preferred.
• Fluent in English; ability to read Chinese is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Hong Kong regulatory compliance and internal policies.
• Lead and support development of compliance policies and manuals.
• Provide risk-based regulatory advice to business stakeholders and liaise with Legal, Risk and external counsel.
• Monitor regulatory developments in HK/China and assess impact on business.
• Assist with regulatory filings, licensing obligations and governance reporting.
• Support DSM Compliance in distribution, sales and cross-border activities.
