Job summary

The Hedge Fund seeks an experienced Head of Finance and Fund Accounting to oversee the fund's day‑to‑day operations, NAV calculations, and regulatory compliance. You will coordinate audits, manage relationships with administrators, custodians, and banks, and oversee investor onboarding and payments.

You will work closely with legal, compliance, tax, and accounting advisers to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely responses to investor DDQs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline preferred.
• Proven experience in fund operations, fund administration, hedge funds, private funds or alternative investment environments.
• Solid understanding of fund structures, NAV production, audit processes and fund lifecycle management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented with high accuracy and proactive problem solving.
• Experience overseeing external service providers including administrators, auditors, custodians, and banking partners.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and fund-related financial reporting is advantageous.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with investor onboarding, KYC and AML regulatory requirements.
• Exposure to cryptocurrency, digital assets, or blockchain funds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational management of the fund and fund operations.
• Act as liaison with external fund administrators and oversee service delivery.
• Review NAV calculations, management fees, and fund expenses.
• Coordinate annual audits and communicate with auditors.
• Maintain relationships with banking partners, custodians, brokers, and other providers.
• Oversee investor subscriptions, redemptions, onboarding activities.
• Support KYC/AML procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, tax, and accounting advisers on fund matters.
• Manage cash movements, payments, and operating expenses for the fund and management company.
• Prepare and respond to due diligence requests and investor DDQs.
• Track regulatory and operational deadlines and resolve issues.
