HKUMed – The University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Teaching Assistant in the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education in Hong Kong. The role involves supporting teaching and educational development, developing teaching materials, and assisting with curriculum initiatives.

The appointee will work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance health professions education, and will assist in workshops, learning activities, and assessment materials.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Public Health, Health Sciences, or related discipline, with at least 2 years' relevant work experience.
• Master's degree would be an advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; strong writing, communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with common IT applications and educational technologies; experience in preparing teaching and learning materials would be desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Support teaching and educational development activities, including preparing and developing teaching and learning materials.
• Assist with curriculum and course development initiatives.
• Assist in the organisation of workshops, seminars and other educational activities; prepare presentations and educational materials.
• Maintain teaching-related documentation.
• Undertake other duties as assigned; occasional work outside normal hours and weekends may be required.
