HKUMed – The University of Hong Kong invites outstanding scholars to join our expanding research, teaching, and clinical innovation programmes through the ‘140 for 140’ Global Professoriate Recruitment Campaign. Appointments are Tenure-Track Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the LKS Faculty of Medicine.

These posts are offered on a three-year fixed-term basis, with renewal subject to performance and tenure consideration; tenure terms may be available for exceptional

Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Strong track record of high-quality research with publications and external grants.
• Evidence of international recognition and cross-disciplinary scholarship.
• Commitment to engaging students in inquiry-based learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative scholarly research in line with department priorities.
• Attract competitive grants to sustain active research programmes.
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and supervise research students.
• Perform relevant administrative duties as required.
