Job summary

The University of Hong Kong invites applications for Head (Strategy and Operations) at the Faculty of Engineering, with responsibilities spanning Hong Kong and Shanghai operations. The role focuses on strategic development, governance, and high-quality service delivery across multiple sites.

The appointee will work closely with Faculty leadership to implement strategic initiatives, manage complex operations, and lead a team toward excellence in administration and stakeholder engagement across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of full-time admin/management experience.
A higher degree would be an advantage.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
Mature, meticulous, self-motivated and collaborative with strong organisational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Facilitate strategic development and operations of the Faculty of Engineering at HKU Zhangjiang Base in Shanghai.
Drive planning and implementation of strategic initiatives while coordinating HKU Hong Kong and Shanghai operations.
Advise senior management on strategic, operational and admin matters.
Lead a team to deliver high-quality services and drive continuous improvement.
Represent the Faculty and build stakeholder relationships across locations.
