Job summary

City University of Hong Kong is seeking an Executive Officer to support the Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies in postgraduate education, internationalisation, student development and strategic initiatives.

The appointee will plan and implement initiatives, coordinate programs, develop global partnerships, organise recruitment and outreach, and prepare reports to support decision-making. Business travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in tertiary education, student services, international partnerships or related fields.
• Strong project coordination, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter who can handle hands-on work relating to postgraduate education.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and be flexible.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and English writing skills; Putonghua a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, data analysis, website content management and survey design; knowledge of AI tools.
• Experience in postgraduate education, international student recruitment, partnership development or programme administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing postgraduate education initiatives, including scholarship schemes, talent development programmes, orientation and engagement activities, and other strategic projects.
• Support development of global partnerships by facilitating collaboration, drafting and vetting agreements and engaging stakeholders.
• Organise student recruitment and outreach activities in targeted regions, such as education fairs and information sessions.
• Support initiatives that enhance postgraduate learning, wellbeing, integration and engagement with the University community.
• Organise student surveys and analytical reports related to wellbeing and satisfaction.
• Prepare reports, briefing materials, presentations and documentation to support project implementation and management decisions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
