Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a seasoned Branch Banking Leader to drive KPIs, grow the customer base and deliver exceptional sales services.

You will coach branch managers, design sales strategies, oversee HR, ensure regulatory compliance and lead regional initiatives across product launches and system roll-outs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of branch banking experience with at least 6 years in management.
• Possess qualifications for insurance and investment licenses registration.
• CFP / CFA / HKRFP qualification is an added advantage.
• Preferably Core or Professional level HKMA ECF on Retail Wealth Management.
• Assertive, highly motivated with hands-on execution.
• Strong influencing, people management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Oversee designated branches in delivering business KPIs, including acquiring and growing customer base and provide excellent sales services.
• Lead branch managers in designing sales strategies and business plan for achieving business goal, and in driving effective human resources management.
• Work closely with various departments on key projects of Branch Banking, including distribution strategies, sales management, product launch, system roll out & regulatory changes.
• Build and maintain a high-quality team spirit with synergy and a motivational attitude towards exceeding business goals.
• Provide adequate training to the staff within region so that they can perform their functions at a professional level, in terms of practices, knowledge, compliance standard, etc.
• Provide management oversight and maintain a strong compliance culture regarding regulatory and compliance matters as well as anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing control activities.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines is preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of branch banking experience with at least 6 years management exposure.
• Possess qualifications for relevant insurance and investment licenses registration
• Possession of CFP / CFA / HKRFP qualification is an added advantage
• Preferably possess/obtain Core or Professional level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Retail Wealth Management (RWM).
• Assertive, highly motivated individual who has strong will and experience to bring strategy to life with their hands-on execution.
• Good influencing, people management and leadership skills.
