Job summary

China CITIC Bank International Limited is seeking an experienced investment sales lead to drive revenue across a cluster of branches. You will advise branches on strategies to hit targets, coach sales staff, and coordinate client events while ensuring AML compliance.

The role requires a finance/economics degree, 5+ years in investment sales within retail banking, and fluency in English and Chinese. CFP/CFA/HKRFP qualifications are advantageous, with a focus on Retail Wealth Management competency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Economics or related discipline.
• CFP/CFA/HKRFP qualifications are advantageous.
• HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Retail Wealth Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years investment sales experience in retail banking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (Putonghua).

Job description

Drive the investment sales business for a cluster of branches and provide professional advice to branches in meeting targets of investment products.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with Principal Investment Consultant / District Head / Branch Manager on business progress and outlook in formulation of corresponding support strategies.

Drive the investment sales business for a specified group of branches and provide advice and plans in meeting sales targets.

Coordinate and support sales events (e.g. seminars) for both internal and external clients.

Conduct regular coaching, training and market / product briefing to sales staff to enhance their knowledge and selling skills.

Comply with anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing controls in accordance with regulatory standards and CNCBI policies.

Establishes oneself as a trusted advisor by participating in customer’s decision-making process, as appropriate.

Requirements

Degree holder in Finance, Economics or related disciplines.

With CFP / CFA / HKRFP qualification is an advantage.

Preferably possess/obtain Core or Professional level of qualification under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Retail Wealth Management (RWM).

Minimum 5 years investment sales experience in the retail banking industry.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
