Job summary

Tokalent in Hong Kong is seeking a Head of Operations (VATP of a Chinese Fintech) to oversee virtual asset transaction clearing, confirm trade details and payments, and ensure accurate reconciliation with counterparties and custodians.

You will work closely with Compliance, Legal and Customer Support to maintain a secure, compliant platform and deliver timely, high‑quality service; and you will generate operations performance reports to drive data‑driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Law; engineering preferred.
• 6+ years in Operations, including 2+ years on a virtual asset trading platform.
• Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and resolve problems with strong communication.
• Proficiency in Mandarin and English in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee virtual asset transaction clearing, verify trades and payments, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with custodian to safeguard client assets and ensure efficient clearing and settlement.
• Work with Compliance/Law to maintain secure, compliant operations and regulatory alignment.
• Coordinate with Customer Support to ensure timely resolution of inquiries and high service standards.
• Generate and analyze operational performance reports to drive data‑driven improvements.
