CEB International Investment Corporation Limited (CEBI) seeks a Head of Operations in Hong Kong to oversee daily clearing and settlement operations for securities, bonds, and corporate finance activities. The role emphasizes risk management, regulatory compliance, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate has a Finance-related degree with 8 years of experience, including 3 years in supervision, and strong knowledge of CCASS, CMU, Euroclear, and SWIFT. IPO experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance or related disciplines, with 8 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years at supervisory level.
• Sound knowledge of electronic settlement systems, including operations of CCASS, CMU, Euroclear and SWIFT.
• Solid experience in handling high-volume IPO applications; familiar with securities, bonds, and futures market environment; familiarity with SFC requirements.

Job description

Manage and supervise the department’s daily operations for providing clearing and settlement services in relation to securities, bonds, and corporate finance businesses；

Monitor and control operational risks, handle contingency situations and exceptional cases, and ensure all procedures and operations comply with regulatory requirements;

Review and enhance operational workflows, and ensure all functions are performed properly with accuracy and integrity；

Conduct process re‑engineering and operational reviews on operational activities；

Design and implement new operational processes to support new business development；

Conduct investigations into settlement discrepancies and/or related outstanding issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance or related disciplines, with 8 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years at supervisory level；

Sound knowledge of electronic settlement systems, including operations of CCASS, CMU, Euroclear and SWIFT;

Solid experience in handling high‑volume IPO applications; conversant with the securities, bonds, and futures market environment, with familiarity with SFC requirements and related regulatory matters;
