Job summary

Ambition in Hong Kong is seeking an accomplished leader to drive a flagship talent and capability-building initiative that strengthens professional excellence across a growing community-based sector.

You will oversee learning and development programmes, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement to build sustainable talent pipelines, elevate organizational capabilities, and generate long-term social impact.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Campus Recruitment, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated success in designing and launching talent or capability-building programmes from concept to implementation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse organizations and senior leadership teams.
• Experience managing complex programmes involving multiple partners, funding bodies, or external stakeholders.
• Strong project management, communication, analytical, and relationship-building capabilities.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate organizational needs into impactful learning and development solutions.
• Passion for talent development, capacity building, and creating meaningful community impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of large-scale capability-building and talent development programmes.
• Partner with grantees and external organizations to design and deliver learning curricula, workshops, events, and development initiatives.
• Drive programme effectiveness through performance monitoring, impact assessment, and data-driven recommendations.
• Build and manage partnerships across corporate, education, community, and sector stakeholders.
• Oversee programme governance, stakeholder communications, and brand-building initiatives.
• Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and risks, and implement strategies to enhance programme outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of future talent and professional capabilities within a purpose-driven sector, including organizations that support sports and community development.
