nextRoles is building a creator-led fashion marketplace and seeks a Head of Software Engineering to join two founders. You will help define the MVP, recruit a small team, and lead full-stack development across four portals. Remote work and equity ownership are highlighted as part of joining the core team.

With 5+ years in full-stack development, you will drive architecture, collaborate across disciplines, and shape the product while growing into a future CTO role.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience leading an engineering team.
• Experience with Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on full-stack development of four portals: Customer, Creator, Producer and Admin.
• Provide input on execution and strategy for the marketplace MVP.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members.
• Plan and scope new features for timely delivery.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and scalability of the platform.
• Contribute to internal documentation and shared code libraries.
