Job summary

All Star Agency is seeking a Team Head – Data Governance in Hong Kong to lead the bank-wide data-governance program. You will drive data ownership, quality, privacy and protection while aligning governance with business priorities and technology capabilities.

You will mentor a team, collaborate with Compliance, Legal and Risk, and deliver governance reporting to senior management in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building or editing enterprise data-governance standards and controls.
• Strong ability to translate policies into operating requirements and governance processes.
• Experience in banking, financial services or Fintech is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank's data-governance framework, including policies, standards and control requirements.
• Institute clear data ownership, stewardship and accountability across departments.
• Drive data quality initiatives and monitor remediation plans with stakeholders.
• Implement data privacy, protection, sharing and cross-border controls with Compliance and Legal.
• Prepare governance materials and management reports; track progress against priorities.
• Coach the team and assess regulatory changes to update policies and controls.
