Job summary

Prudential Hong Kong is seeking a Director, Data & Integration, Chapter Lead, to drive the Data and Integration engineering capabilities across the organisation. The role owns technical capability, engineering standards, talent and strategic direction for data platforms, data engineering, APIs and related technologies to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with Chapter Leads, Journey Leads, Architecture and Governance to ensure end-to-end coverage, reduce gaps and promote

Qualifications

• University graduate in Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise technology, architecture or digital transformation.
• Senior leadership experience in insurance, banking or financial services.
• Experience with Agile, product/platform operating models.
• Experience building modern data platforms and API ecosystems.
• Proficient in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data & Integration Chapter and build an engineering culture centered on technical excellence and collaboration.
• Define the Chapter's capability strategy, disciplines and skills roadmap.
• Develop succession plans, identify capability gaps and determine build/buy/partner strategies.
• Ensure engineers have the skills, architecture, platforms and practices for secure, scalable solutions.
• Own and evolve engineering capabilities for data platforms, data pipelines and APIs.
• Set standards for development, testing, deployment, observability and resilience.
• Promote reusable data products and patterns across Journeys.
