Job summary

Prudential Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Director, Data & Integration to lead the Chapter and shape the engineering capability across data platforms, data engineering, pipelines, APIs and related technologies. The role partner with Journey Leads, Architecture and Governance to deliver secure, scalable data solutions.

You will own standards, talent development and a strategic direction, ensuring engineers deliver reusable data products and well-governed data services across Journeys while

Qualifications

• University Graduate from Information Technology discipline; 10+ years in enterprise technology, architecture, or large-scale digital transformation.
• Experience operating within an Agile, product, platform, Journey/Chapter or comparable capability-based operating model.
• Experience establishing modern enterprise data platforms and/or API ecosystems.
• Practical understanding of enterprise data requirements for AI, GenAI and advanced analytics.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid technology environments.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data & Integration Chapter and establish an engineering culture centred on technical excellence and accountability.
• Own and evolve engineering capabilities for enterprise data platforms, data engineering, pipelines and APIs; set standards for development, testing, deployment, observability and resilience.
• Provide Data & Integration engineers into multidisciplinary Journeys; ensure alignment with business priorities and long-term technology sustainability.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Governance and Journey Leads to close capability gaps and avoid overlaps across the technology organisation.
• Translate enterprise technology strategy into executable engineering standards and patterns; drive modernisation and reduce technical debt.
• Embed resilience, security, privacy and operational risk considerations into engineering practices while enabling AI-enabled data solutions.
