Job summary

BDO Unibank Hong Kong seeks an experienced executive to oversee the Accounting Department and HR matters at the branch. You will supervise daily operations, ensure timely submission of reports to regulators and head office, manage annual budgets, and drive audit rectifications in line with policies and procedures.

The role requires coordinating payroll, MPF, leaves, insurance, tax filings, recruitment, and compliance with HK and Philippines accounting standards while maintaining data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least five years of administration experience in banking or financial institutions, preferably branch operations.
• Analytical, systematic, able to work under pressure and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily accounting department operations and monthly reviews of sensitive accounts.
• Oversees preparation and submission of reports to regulators, branch management, and external auditors.
• Manages annual branch budget and monthly financial performance.
• Implements audit rectifications and coordinates with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Ensures branch expenses, fixed assets and supplies align with bank policies.
• Maintains HR operations: payroll, MPF, leaves, insurance, recruitment, and compliance with HK laws.
