Job summary

Oracle Systems Hong Kong Ltd is seeking an Associate Consultant to help customers implement Oracle enterprise applications solutions. You will work closely with clients and project teams to design, configure, and validate HCM solutions across the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, configuring the system, testing, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining quality. A relevant degree and 1+ year of SaaS implementation experience are preferred, with strong English

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, HR, or CS.
• 1+ year of experience in application/SaaS implementation.
• Interest in a customer-facing consultant role.
• Ability to guide customers based on leading practices.

Description
The Associate Consultant assists customers with implementing Oracle enterprise applications solutions. The role requires heavy interaction with customers, implementation teams and partners. He/she will have implementation expertise spanning the full implementation cycle and be adept at implementing Oracle applications functionality.

As a functional consultant, you will be responsible for deliverables at every phase of the software implementation lifecycle such as:

• Preparing for, facilitating, and gaining agreement on global design
• Documenting the client’s as-is process flows and communicating best practices for the to-be optimal state
• Adapting the solution for localizations or business processes specific to a client’s business unit or operating location
• Documenting and gaining agreement on the client configuration
• Implementing and configuring applications
• Developing a test strategy to validate the solution and confirming successful deployment
• Identifying risks or issues associated with assigned tasks; taking initiative to proactively alert project leadership of any risks or issues

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to gather and document customer business requirements
• Ability to influence customers to modify current business practices, as required;
• Ability to manage scope and expectations with the customer
• Work with customers to implement and configure HCM solution to support customer business requirements
• Establish credibility and rapport with internal and external stakeholders; Ability to work within project teams and collaborate cross-departmentally
• Work collaboratively within a project team both on and off customer sites
• Analyze and design solutions for business requirements which may include complex configurations and/or technical components
• Define detailed functional requirements
• Work with technical teams to design, develop and test automations and integrations
• Perform quality reviews of deliverables developed by other team members
• Collaborate and communicate with Project Managers and colleagues to facilitate on time and on budget project delivery
• Train and mentor team members
• Achieve or exceed billable utilization targets

Continue to increase product knowledge and pursue relevant certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree programme or above in relevant discipline(s), including Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources, Business Management, Computer Science, etc.
• 1+ year of experience in application/SaaS implementation.
• Has a keen interest in customer facing consultant role.
• Ability to guide customer based on leading practices
• Ability to work well in teams, as well as independently
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in English, verbal and written
• Critical thinker, problem solver, curious learner
• Able to learn new products and technologies on the job quickly
• Capable to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed
