Job summary

The Peninsula Hong Kong is seeking enthusiastic applicants for a guest service position. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hotel setting, and possess excellent communication skills in English, with knowledge of Putonghua being an advantage.

Responsibilities include providing guest services, managing VIP check-ins, and maintaining the integrity of the guest database. The role offers a competitive salary between HKD 23,000 - 27,000 monthly, along with exceptional benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant guest service experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus.
• Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provides guest services and administrative or operational support to ensure the best of the services will be delivered to all guests in a timely and most effective manner
• Ensures all pre-stay arrangements and carries out check in for assigned VIPs
• Performs Lobby duties, promotes goodwill of the hotel and provides operation support
• Responsible for the integrity, collection and maintenance of guest database

General Requirements:

• At least 1-2 years relevant guest service experience; hotel experience is preferred
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English; proficiency in Putonghua would be an advantage
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Prior knowledge of reports and database management will be an advantage
• Outgoing and pleasant personality
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
