Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is representing an asset manager seeking an Equity Research Analyst/ VP to focus on the Greater China Technology sector in Hong Kong. You will support portfolio managers through in-depth fundamental research and idea generation.

This role reports to the Head of Equity Research and involves building initiation reports, earnings reviews, and thematic pieces while collaborating with market participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 1–5 years of equity research experience covering Greater China technology sectors.
• Strong fundamental research capability with solid modelling and valuation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Equity Research.
• Conduct fundamental research on Greater China technology companies (hardware, software, internet, semiconductor, AI).
• Produce initiation reports, earnings reviews, and thematic research pieces.
• Monitor industry developments and catalysts; provide investment insights.
• Track portfolio holdings and generate actionable recommendations.
• Build relationships with companies, analysts, and market participants.
