Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is recruiting for an equity research specialist focused on Greater China technology. You will conduct fundamental analysis across hardware, software, internet, semiconductors and AI, producing initiation reports and earnings reviews to support investment decisions.

The role requires 1–5 years of relevant experience, strong modelling and valuation skills, and the ability to travel for research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, CS, IT or related fields.
• 1–5 years equity research covering Greater China technology sectors; buy-side or sell-side backgrounds considered.
• Strong fundamental research capability with financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Ability to develop differentiated investment views supported by rigorous analysis.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for company visits and industry research; Mandarin and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Head of Equity Research.
• Conduct fundamental research on Greater China technology firms across hardware, software, internet, semiconductors, AI.
• Produce initiation reports, earnings reviews and thematic research pieces.
• Monitor industry developments and catalysts, providing timely investment insights.
• Track portfolio holdings and generate actionable investment recommendations.
• Build and maintain relationships with listed companies and sell-side analysts.
• Participate in meetings, conferences and field research trips as required.
• Support investment-related initiatives, client engagement and business development projects.
