Job summary

JPC Texson Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Production Professional to oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring GMP compliance and high-quality output. You will coordinate manpower, materials and equipment, lead a production team, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering or Industrial Engineering, with 3+ years in GMP manufacturing and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related subject.
• At least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a GMP environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical formulations (solid dosage forms, oral liquids, ointments).
• Strong communication, coordination and team-management skills.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production floor operations.
• Coordinate manpower, materials and equipment to meet production schedules.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures.
• Ensure all production activities comply with GMP standards.
• Maintain a high level of product quality.
• Manage the production team, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance evaluation.
• Review and approve raw materials and production-related documents.
• Assist the Production Manager in analysing production performance.
• Propose and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing activities such as 5S and TPM.
• Use Lean tools to identify problems and implement practical solutions.
