Job summary

JPC Texson Ltd, a leading GMP-certified pharmaceutical manufacturer with offices across Hong Kong and China, seeks an engineering professional to join the team. The role focuses on setting up a new production plant, preparing facility layouts, and ensuring GMP-compliant design, with coordination between consultants, contractors and internal teams.

You will support budgets, procurement, installation, commissioning, and ongoing operation for production systems and utilities to meet GMP

Qualifications

• Degree or higher diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 1 year in GMP factories.
• Experience in facility construction, equipment management or maintenance required.
• Experience in setting up new facilities, production systems and utilities is an advantage.
• Proficient in CAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of pharma equipment is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; English and Chinese proficiency; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Manager in setting up a new pharmaceutical production plant.
• Prepare layouts and designs for facilities, production systems and utilities.
• Ensure designs meet user requirements, GMP standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with consultants and contractors to maintain schedule and quality.
• Assist with project budgets, resource planning and document control.
• Support equipment procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
• Ensure GMP documents for facilities and equipment are prepared and submitted as needed.
• Support daily production operations after the plant becomes operational.
