Job summary

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is seeking a dynamic Training & Development professional to lead the team responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating learning initiatives across its global offices.

The ideal candidate has a university degree with extensive L&D leadership experience, proven program design skills, and strong English and Chinese communication; you will drive engagement, develop structured curricula and partner with stakeholders to align learning with business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 15 years of working experience in learning and development.
• At least 5 years in a managerial role in sizeable organisations.
• Proven ability to design and implement learning programs and curricula.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Training and Development team across global offices to drive operations excellence.
• Identify skill gaps and deliver training solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and regularly evaluate structured learning frameworks for employees across career stages.
• Incorporate digital tools and methodologies into training practices.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to strengthen culture and commitment.
• Stay informed on market practices, learning trends and technologies to advise HR Head.
• Handle ad-hoc initiatives and projects as assigned.
