Job summary

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) invites applications for an Event Coordinator to support planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotion events. You will coordinate logistics, engage with exhibitors and partners, and provide on-site support to ensure a high-quality participant experience.

The role requires a university degree and at least 1 year in event management or related fields, with strong English and Chinese skills.

Qualifications

• University graduate with at least 1 year’s experience in event management, project coordination or related fields.
• Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage external partners and stakeholders.
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing, and other presentation and graphic design software.
• A team player with a positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotion events, including exhibitions, seminars and networking programmes
• Coordinate logistics and operations for start-up and innovation initiatives, including competitions, showcases and ecosystem events
• Manage stakeholder engagement, including responding to enquiries and maintaining relationships with exhibitors, delegates and partners.
• Provide on-site event support to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality participant experience
• Maintain and analyse project data, delegate profiles and event performance metrics
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations and post-event evaluation
• Provide administrative support, including data input, scheduling, documentation and coordination across teams
