Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking an in-house lawyer to join our AI/tech platform client as Legal Counsel. You will provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, operational and strategic initiatives, and partner with product, engineering, security and compliance teams.

The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with at least five years of post-qualification experience, preferably from a leading law firm or in-house.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post-qualification experience preferred.
• Background from a leading law firm and/or in-house legal team
• Exposure to technology, AI, cybersecurity, data privacy, or related practice areas is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of AI tools and their practical applications within the legal industry.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to business stakeholders on commercial, operational and strategic initiatives.
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues relating to artificial intelligence, machine learning, data usage, intellectual property, cybersecurity and digital products.
• Partner with product, engineering, security and compliance teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Capture client feedback and market insights to improve customer engagement and business strategies.
