Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership is assisting a well-established global manufacturing leader to hire a Global Supply Chain Manager based in Shenzhen. You will drive end-to-end demand integration, global S&OP governance and inventory optimization across multi-site operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Supply Chain, 5+ in regional/global management, strong ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), APS and Power BI, and experience with AI forecasting.

Job description

Our client is a well-established, leading global multinational manufacturing enterprise with an extensive international production footprint. To support their continued operational transformation and digital evolution, they are seeking a high-caliber Global Supply Chain Manager (Based in Shenzhen) to drive end-to-end demand integration, global S&OP governance, and inventory optimization across their multi-site operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end demand planning and forecasting framework across all international manufacturing sites and business units.
• Consolidate commercial inputs, market intelligence, and seasonal trends into actionable rolling demand plans, driving forecast accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Establish and facilitate the monthly global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle to align demand, supply, capacity, and financial objectives.
• Conduct monthly demand and risk reviews with leadership, providing strategic mitigation plans for supply-demand constraints and operational bottlenecks.
• Translate demand plans into dynamic supply strategies, collaborating with site PMC and operations teams to optimize plant loading and capacity utilization.
• Partner with Procurement to establish long-range material forecasts, secure long-lead component pipelines, and eliminate material shortage risks.
• Design global inventory strategies, safety stock parameters, and reorder controls to balance cash flow, working capital, and customer service SLAs.
• Drive global initiatives to minimize excess, slow-moving, and obsolete (SLOB) inventory while improving global stock accuracy and visibility.
• Global Process Standardization: Harmonize global planning methodologies, establish standardized KPI dashboards, and drive functional best practices across all operating regions.
• Support the implementation and optimization of enterprise digital tools, including advanced ERP/MRP, APS systems, AI forecasting models, and Power BI analytics.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, S&OP, and Manufacturing Operations.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in a regional or global managerial role managing multi-site manufacturing networks.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing and governing global or regional S&OP/IBP frameworks from scratch.
• Strong expertise in inventory optimization strategies, safety stock modeling, and working capital management.
• Solid working knowledge of enterprise ERP/MRP platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle), Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) tools, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with or exposure to AI-driven demand forecasting and supply chain analytics tools.
• Exceptional cross-functional influencing skills with a proven ability to challenge commercial/operations assumptions and drive executive consensus.
• Highly analytical approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and global change management.
• Native/Fluent English and Cantonese or Mandarin communication skills to interact effectively with global and site-level teams.
