Job summary

ConnectedGroup in Hong Kong is seeking a Sourcing Specialist for General Hard Goods to drive supplier development and sourcing strategies. You will work with international teams to identify opportunities, evaluate suppliers, and manage product development and costings.

English fluency is essential, Chinese preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The role requires coordinating development, quotations, sampling, testing and order execution, while ensuring timely shipments and supplier

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in sourcing, merchandising, buying office or product development.
• Experience across Homeware, Kitchenware, Seasonal Products, Gifts & General Merchandise, Household Products, Furniture, Toys.
• Strong supplier management, product sourcing, costing and vendor negotiations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent English; Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities across Home, Seasonal and General Merchandise categories.
• Source and evaluate suppliers across Asia to support growth and diversification.
• Conduct market research, trend analysis and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with overseas buying teams and internal stakeholders on product development initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships and drive vendor performance improvements.
• Coordinate development, quotations, costing, sampling, testing and order execution.
