Job summary

Change Group Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Assistant Sourcing Manager to support the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for hardline products. You will manage supplier relationships and ensure procurement of high-quality goods that meet business needs.

You will negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance against quality, delivery, and cost targets, and collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance to align sourcing activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably within the hardline products sector.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and perform cost analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively
• Familiarity with sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify and evaluate potential suppliers for hardline products and components.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible agreements for the organization.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to align sourcing activities with business needs and objectives.
• Stay updated on market trends, new product developments, and regulatory requirements in the hardline products industry.
• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize costs, streamline processes, and drive efficiency in the sourcing function.
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers, fostering strong partnerships and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
