Selby Jennings in Hong Kong is seeking a technology professional to join a leading global investment organisation. You will help drive risk and P&L reporting platforms, working closely with Risk, Finance and investment teams across Asia and Europe on large-scale data environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on technology, risk tech, quantitative tech, or financial systems development.
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modelling concepts.
• Exposure to large production codebases and development best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support internal risk and P&L reporting platforms used by key stakeholders.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement robust long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and investment teams to deliver practical technology solutions.
• Contribute to the design, development, and refactoring of existing systems and processes.
• Work with large-scale datasets and databases to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Participate in team projects while independently owning technical initiatives.
• Review upstream and downstream impacts of system changes to maintain platform integrity.
• Support the continuous improvement of development standards, tooling, and operational processes.
