Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support internal risk and P&L reporting platforms used by key stakeholders.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement robust long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with Risk, Finance, and investment teams to deliver practical technology solutions.
• Contribute to the design, development, and refactoring of existing systems and processes.
• Work with large-scale datasets and databases to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Participate in team projects while independently owning technical initiatives.
• Review upstream and downstream impacts of system changes to maintain platform integrity.
• Support the continuous improvement of development standards, tooling, and operational processes.

These systems play a central role in informing decisions across Risk, Finance, and senior investment leadership functions. Requirements

• Experience working in a hands-on technology, risk technology, quantitative technology, or financial systems development role.
• Strong understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data modelling concepts.
• Demonstrated experience navigating and enhancing large production codebases.
• Knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, and associated risk concepts.
• Exposure to software development best practices, version control tools, and collaborative development environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.

Highly advantageous

• Experience within hedge funds, investment management firms, trading organisations, or investment banks.
• Fixed Income and/or Equities market knowledge.
• Experience with ClickHouse or other high-performance analytical databases.
• Prior exposure to risk reporting, market risk systems, or P&L platforms.
