Job summary

Charterhouse Limited is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer in Hong Kong to reinforce day-to-day QA practices, maintain the QMS, and collaborate across Product Development, Purchasing, Operations and QC. The role involves risk reduction, supplier performance, CAPA follow-through, and regular factory visits, with frequent travel to manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of QA and/or QC exposure in a multi-component product environment.
• Working knowledge of QA methods, risk assessment, manufacturing flows, product tolerances and factory inspection standards.
• Meticulous, forward-leaning and analytically sharp with continuous-improvement instinct.
• Strong spoken and written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Carry the daily QA workload and coordinate with internal teams across regions.
• Maintain the quality manual and related controlled documents; refresh as processes improve.
• Contribute to monthly quality packs and drive CAPA follow-through to closure.
• Incorporate quality criteria early in development to design risk out.
• Assist Product Development and Purchasing with product-tolerance packs that meet standards.
• Attend pre-production meetings and sample reviews; confirm quality expectations before launch.
• Brief QC on critical inspection gates and extra checks needed for programs.
• Monitor defect trends with QC; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers.
• Join factory audits and on-site visits to verify supplier compliance.
• Serve as quality contact for suppliers on non-conformances and CAPA closures.
• Update internal supplier-monitoring framework for practical upgrades.
• Support investigations of customer quality complaints with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
